-- Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. has been
asked to provide documents, materials, witnesses, depositions,

in the recent tire recall. These include the United States Senate,
the United States House of Representatives, the National Highway
Traffic Safety Administration, the Multi-State Attorneys General
Task Force, and a multitude of plaintiffs lawyers. These requests
are often detailed, lengthy and complex.
Bridgestone/Firestone has, and will continue
to have, a policy of being open and responsive to these requests.
We have been and will continue to work diligently to fulfill
these inquiries in a timely and responsible manner with limited
staff and limited resources.
