"We are reviewing
our manufacturing processes at the Decatur plant, as well
as other tire manufacturing locations. We have specialists
from Japan who are on their way to several of our tire making
facilities -- not just the Decatur plant. These specialists
will be working jointly with our plant personnel to analyze
our systems and procedures as part of our quality audit."
"The review of these
processes may require the temporary shut down of various machines
at a facility, if a major modification is needed."
"We hope that any
production interruption, if necessary, will be minimal."
